At least once a week we will blog about the happenings in Country Music. </div><br /><div></div><br /><div>This week we will blog about the Taylor Swift controversy about her Grammy performance. Taylor is a nice girl and has lots of talent however I think she gets nervous when performing in front of her peers and let's face it singing with Icon Stevie Nicks would make anyone nervous. Taylor has done a lot for country music bringing in a youger demographic. She was off at the Grammy's and she could probably use some coaching when it comes to big performances like this. The media may be a little harsh but if Stevie Nicks was off as bad as Taylor was they would have written about her as well. Scott Borchetta head of Taylor's record label made some comments that were really uncalled for. But then again you have to know Scott. Of course he is going to speak out on behalf of Taylor after all if it wasn't for Taylor Swift Scott may not have a record label. It is the way he did it that is questionable. </div><div></div><div>In the music industry there is a lot of jealousy and people look for an artist to make a mistake or have a bad performance. This way they can justify their views about an artist. We at Cool Country support Taylor and all the other fine artists that are working hard to bring more younger people to country music.
